About Westfield Gymnasium
Walking Track
The Westfield Gymnasium is located in Westfield Middle School, 149 Fairfield Way in Bloomingdale. All persons using the indoor track must have an ID pass. Passes can be purchased at the Johnston Recreation Center. Passes are good for one year from the date of purchase. Passes are FREE for Park District residents and $30 for non-residents.
The track consists of two lanes. The inside lane is for walkers and the outside lane is for runners/joggers. Fifteen laps equals one mile.
The track is for use by persons 16 years old and over. Children 12 to 16 years old are permitted only when accompanied by an adult. Children under 12 years are not allowed on the track.
The track is open Monday through Thursday, 5:30 to 8 a.m. and 4 to 9:45 p.m.; Fridays, 5:30 to 8 a.m. and 4 to 8 p.m.; Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and Sundays, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
