Partnership was the predominant theme in the District’s many notable achievements documented in the 2015-16 Annual Report
, as we continue to seek out the most economical ways to enhance the resident experience.
- A cooperative agreement with Westlake Townhome Owners Association resulted in indoor aquatic programming at Westlake Pool.
- Continued collaboration with Roselle Park District brought about a discounted rate for access to fitness equipment at the Clauss Recreation Center.
- Finally, the renovation of the Tompkins Park playground structures, with assistance from the Bloomingdale Historical Society to provide interpretive signage, stands out as another of the District’s major accomplishments in 2015-16.
The Bloomingdale Park District fiscal year begins on June 1st ends on May 31st. The revenues and expenditures on pages 3-4 reflect those dates. Due to printing deadlines and timing, the other content in this report covers September 1, 2015 to August 31, 2016.
