The Bloomingdale Park District ran the FACTS (Fun. Affordable. Convenient. Trendy. Safe.) Marketing Campaign beginning in the 2014-15 Winter-Spring program catalog and concluding in the 2016 Summer program catalog. Each program catalog highlighted the various aspects of the acronym. 

2014-15 Winter-Spring - Fun:  The Bloomingdale Park District’s mission statement centers around providing programs, facilities and open space for enjoyable leisure time experiences. Tantamount to any enjoyable experience is making it fun. 2015 Summer - Affordable:  The Bloomingdale Park District is similar to a not-for-profit organization in that any profit is reinvested back into the Park District. This enhances parks, facilities and services while also making programs and classes more affordable. Read more...

2015 Fall - Convenient:  The Bloomingdale Park District works when you play. It’s a simple motto that rings true throughout our programming and planning processes. Integral to that is making the District convenient to its residents. In our most needs assessment survey, the District discovered that convenience outweighs price and many other key factors in participation for our residents. Convenience comes in the form of day, date, time, location, participation with a friend (for carpooling), etc. Read more...

2016 Summer - Safe:  While striving to efficiently and economically provide recreation programs, facilities and open space for enjoyable leisure time experiences that benefit the community, it is of the utmost importance to keep participants and residents safe. Be it shoveling and salting walkways in parks and facilities, or conducting specialized training in case of emergencies, it is the Park District’s intention to always provide a safe environment for employees and the public who use our programs, facilities and parks.
