Community Calendar FAQ |

Why a community calendar?
This interactive community calendar is designed as a service to our residents,
allowing you to see at a glance what is going on in Bloomingdale on any given
day. We hope that you find it useful, and that you visit often to see the many
special events and activities provided by our governmental agencies and vibrant
community groups and organizations.
Who maintains the site?
The site is maintained by the Bloomingdale Park District staff, and the Park
District reserves the right to post, deny, delete, move, or edit any entry without
notice.
Who can submit community calendar entries?
Any non-profit agency, organization, or individual can submit an entry as long
as it is community focused, not business focused, and the public is invited,
or it is considered to provide broad-based, useful information to our residents.
What do I include in my entry?
The event title is what displays on the calendar, so it is best to keep it short
and concise. The rest of the details will display when your event is opened.
Take advantage of the description section. This is where you can provide any
information not covered by the form fields. Think about questions that people
might ask and answer them here!
How will I know if my entry is accepted?
It will appear on the calendar! Although entries typically will appear within
a few days, please allow us at least a week for posting.
What if my entry needs to be changed or deleted?
Contact Anita P. Escalante (630) 529-3650 or e-mail at aescalante@bloomingdaleparks.org.
Changes will be made as soon as possible.
