What a great way to enjoy summer! We offer a variety of camps for children 4 years old through ninth grade. Each camp is designed with fun activities to suit the age of your child. The main focus of our camps is to provide a caring, fun and safe environment. Activities include group games, arts and crafts, cooking, sports, swimming and trips. Each camp puts together a calendar for the session that includes the fun, daily activities. Lunches, snacks and water bottles must be brought daily. The camp handbook will provide specific details about each camp. The camp dates and locations are tentative and may be adjusted to accommodate the last and first days of school.
Registration for summer day camp is currently being accepted. Payment for your first session and registration forms are due at time of registration.
Registration for subsequent sessions will be accepted and do not require a
deposit. The $25.00/session non-resident fee is also due at the time
of registration. Registration forms are available at the JRC front desk or by clicking here.
Payments for remaining sessions will be due on the first of July for second session and on the first of August for third session. Late payments will be assessed a $5.00 per day charge for each business day until payment is made.
Vacation credit will be approved on a limited basis. Only children registered for the entire summer of camp (6/15-8/14) are eligible for vacation credit. Vacation credit must be requested prior to the vacation and will only be granted one time for a vacation of two to five consecutive camp days. A vacation credit form must be completed at the JRC front desk prior to the vacation. Credit/refunds will not be given for sick days, single vacation days, or for any other day(s) your child may be absent from camp. Vacation credit requests must be submitted prior to the session they are being requested for. Requests during or after the session will not be approved.
Campers attending Cat Tails Camp, Mouse Hole Camp, Lions’ Den Camp, and Goin’ Ape Camp will participate in swim lessons during the highlighted session listed under each camp description. Lessons will be held at The Oasis. Counselors will escort campers to the pool and remain on site throughout the lesson time. Lesson will be taught by Bloomingdale Park District aquatic staff.

Here’s a great opportunity to extend camp up to the start of school! Look below for your school district and sign up for the entire session or just for the days needed. Registering for the whole session is a great value and will save you money compared to paying the daily fee. Activities will be similar to day camp including, games, arts and crafts, cooking, sports and swimming as the Oasis schedule allows. Lunches, snacks, drinks, gym shoes, sunscreen, and swimsuits and towels should be brought daily. |
