Volunteer Coaches Needed
The BSO is a volunteer organization whose success is dependent on the number of adults willing to give their time as coaches, coordinators, board members, etc. In order to insure the quality of our program we are requesting that all coaches commit and sign-up for the Fall season by February 6th.

Coaches can register on the same dates and times as the player registrations. Per Park District requirements, all coaches must complete the Score 6 certification program and a criminal background check.

The BSO offers a players/coaches clinic at the beginning of the season to help train coaches on the basic rules, tactics, and practice methods used in soccer.

For more information on becoming a coach, contact our Coaches Coordinator, Mario Marsico at 893-0042.

Score 6 Certification Program
The Park District requires all coaches to complete a Score 6 certification class and a criminal background check. Also, at least one parent of all participants is required to attend a Score 6 class. Coaches and parents must attend the Score 6 class prior to the start of the season.
