OH, SHOOT! Photography 2008

This annual photography show will provide an opportunity for photographers to compete for cash prizes in this juried exhibition. Black and white, color, and digital images will be judged. 25th Annual Student Art Show
When: March 15 - April 26, 2008
Reception: Sunday, March 16, 2-4pm with special guest Mayor Bob Iden
Guests are invited to this special reception including complimentary refreshments!

The silver anniversary celebration of the student art show will highlight the creative endeavors of children from kindergarten through high school. Over 200 works will be displayed in a variety of media from drawing to painting to sculpture. You will surely be inspired by the colorful and imaginative work of the artists from our local schools.

Special Recreation Association Art Show

Western Dupage Special Recreation Association (WDSRA) along with several other neighboring Special Recreation Association’s (SRA’s) will be showcasing artwork made by participants with disabilities. SRA’s work in cooperation with their local park districts to provide recreation programs, special events, and trips to people of all ages with disabilities. The participants who have artwork in this show are very excited and proud to display their work to their family, friends, and general public. A wonderful combination of paintings, drawings, photography, collages, and sculptures will be shown.
