Island Events at The Oasis!

Watch for promotional materials, which will precede each event. Inclement weather may cancel an event, so please call if weather is in question. Participation in The Oasis island events requires a pool pass or admission fee; some events require an additional fee. Open swim hours may be adjusted during special events.

“Finding Nemo!”

Everyday The Oasis is open, Nemo will be hidden somewhere within The Oasis. If you find him, please bring him to the admission desk and claim your prize! Join the fun - the search is on for Nemo! All ages are welcome to participate.

Fun with Fathers
Sunday, June 15th

Kids - make sure to bring your dads to The Oasis on Father's Day for a day of splash-tastic fun! Games and competitions will be run throughout the day for fathers and their children. Fathers will be admitted free with the paid admission of their child.

Join us for our new boat float days! On these days we will take out our nine paddle boats and give children at The Oasis a chance to float and paddle around in 'Cuda Cove. Paddleboat restrictions require boaters to be between the ages of 4-10 and/or under 120 lbs. Lifejackets (provided by The Oasis) are required when in a boat.

Extreme Team Challenge - (7-12 years)
July 21, 2:00pm & 6:30pm

Have you always wondered what it was like to be a lifegaurd? Well here is your chance to find out! Come be part of The Oasis lifeguarding team for an hour. You will be in the water helping the lifegueards as they practice mini rescue drills and show you what lifeguarding is all about.

Olympic Week at The Oasis

Kick off the 2008 summer Olympics at The Oasis! The Oasis will start competitions at 4:00pm everyday throughout the week!

A Night In Paradise

Adults 60 and better, this event is for you! Vito Zatto will be entertaining the night away at The Oasis with his legendary Vegas-style singing and comedy show. Everyone will be dancing and having a fabulous evening! You don’t want to miss this one-of-a-kind show! We’re all kids at heart, so come spend an evening at The Oasis enjoying the live poolside entertainment, complimentary refreshments and an entire island Oasis reserved just for you. Yes, all of the waterslides and attractions will be available for you to play!

A ticket is required for entry to this event: residents and pass holders FREE (must pre-register by June 21 to receive your FREE ticket), non-residents $5 (must pre-register by June 21 to receive your discounted ticket). Tickets purchased the night of the event: residents and pass holders $3, non-residents $8.

Summer 2008
National Night Out - National Night Out Against Crime
Tuesday, August 5th at The Oasis!
6:00pm

The Bloomingdale Park District and the Bloomingdale Police Department are proud to sponsor the 25th Annual National Night Out Against Crime. Festivities begin at 6:00pm until 9:00pm. Open swim, food and beverage, as well as games, prizes, music and lots of fun are on the menu for the evening.

This evening is designed to generate further support and participation in the local anti-crime efforts through the Neighborhood Watch Program and strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnership nationwide.
