The Bloomingdale Parks Foundation was established in 1994 as a not-for-profit organization. It's primary purpose is to develop alternate sources of funding for Bloomingdale Park District facilities and recreation programs, and to provide opportunities for all Park District participants.

Funded the construction of the Springfield Park outdoor basketball courts
Funded the construction of the picnic pavilion at Springfield Park
Hosts the annual Make A Difference Day featuring nature activities and wetlands education.

The Bloomingdale Parks Foundation is an organization dedicated to helping the Park District provide great recreation programs and open space. Join us as we assist individuals to gain access to our programs, enhance current programs, and make improvements to all of our parks.

The Bloomingdale Parks Foundation is hosting its annual Golf Outing Monday, September 29th at the Bloomingdale Golf Club. All proceeds benefit the "park foundation's "Window to the Wetlands" campaign to help restore the Springfield Park wetlands.  See skills contests below!

Where: Bloomingdale Golf Club
Cost: $125 per person or $500/foursome. Includes green fees for 18-holes, golf cart, lunch, dinner, and one sleeve of golf balls.

Closest to the Pin and Longest Drive Contests:

The winner of each contest is guaranteed tickets to either a Major League Baseball, National Football League, National Hockey League, National Basketball Association game, a NASCAR race or a PGA Event. 

 

4 Day/3 night and 3 Day/2 Night Vacation Packages:  Prizes include  accommodation only – i.e. plane tickets are not included.  Rooms are good for 2 adults and two children.  Hotels range from 3 to 4 stars, but will most likely be Holiday Inn, Sheraton, Hampton Inn, or Ramada hotels (or in that family).  There are 25 different destinations to choose from including:  Daytona Beach , FL , Destin , FL , Ft. $50,000 Shootout:  4 golfers will be selected to shoot from a minimum of 165 yards from a hole for a chance to win a Carnival Cruise for 2.

 

(4) Hole in One Prizes: Prizes include one of four prizes (Sailing adventure for 2 on an America ’s Cup Yacht, White Water Rafting Adventure in California , Full day of Guided Fly Fishing in Vermont and a Hot Air Balloon Adventure).
