Holiday Show

Exhibition Dates: December 6-26

Gallery I: LEGO Exhibit
The popular LEGO exhibit returns! Designed by South Elgin resident Randy Flones, the exhibit has grown in size and complexity in recent years and currently displays at 168 square feet. It features a city, baseball diamond, church and wedding, farm, airport, winter scene and train station with eight freight and passenger trains. The exhibit takes Randy and his wife and daughters about four hours to set up. Looking for a challenge? Try counting all of the Santas in the display.

Gallery II: Ugly Sweaters
A new holiday Museum experience features mannequins dressed in ugly sweaters. They will be displayed hanging from the ceiling, placed on mannequins, and used as ornaments on Christmas trees. The sources for the sweaters are local resale shops and donations from local residents. Contact the Museum if you have sweaters you would like to loan for this new exhibition.

About Museum

From Our Residents
The Museum is a beautiful place to exhibit art. The lighting is perfect and makes it easy to enjoy the art on the walls. Hanging art is an art, and the people who put up the exhibits are definitely talented in that arena. The receptions are amazing.
