The Morton Arboretum Photographic Society (MAPS) is a non-competitive photography club whose focus is nature and education as inspired by the mission of the Morton Arboretum: “to collect and study trees, shrubs, and other plants from around the world, to display them across naturally beautiful landscapes for people to study and enjoy, and to learn how to grow them in ways that enhance our environment.”
Welcoming both beginners and advanced photographers, the club is inspired by nature’s beauty and enjoys sharing its work with fellow members and nurturing the art of creating images.
The Museum is a beautiful place to exhibit art. The lighting is perfect and makes it easy to enjoy the art on the walls. Hanging art is an art, and the people who put up the exhibits are definitely talented in that arena. The receptions are amazing.- Anonymous - Museum Survey
