Kids' Place Before and After School Care & Kindergarten Kids' Place

Registration deadlines for Kids' Place and Kindergarten Kids' Place are by 11:59pm on the Monday the week prior to attending.  Cancellations and changes must be completed prior to the registration deadline.  There are no exceptions to the deadline policy.

2024-2025 School Year

Kids’ Place is a cooperative before- and after-school care program between the Bloomingdale Park District and School District #13 (DuJardin Elementary & Erickson Elementary), and School District #15 (Winnebago Elementary). It is for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. Kids' Place for District 13 is conducted at DuJardin & Erickson, while Kids' Place for District 15 is conducted only at Winnebago Elementary.


Highlights

• Kids’ Place works cooperatively with school and park district extra-curricular activities.
• Homework/quiet time provided daily at PM Care.
• Staff assistance with homework.
• Group and individual activities include indoor and outdoor activities, arts, crafts, and active sports and games designed to educate and entertain.
• Activities will be adjusted to meet COVID requirements.
• Transportation provided for kindergartners to/from District 13 schools to the Johnston Recreation Center.
  
• Attendance days are flexible. Select days online or in person after initial registration for convenient scheduling.
• Days off of school activities are available when school is not in session (additional fee required).

Quick Tips for Successful Registration

• Initial Kids Place registration may take place in person at the Johnston Recreation Center or online.
• Pay the one-time, non-refundable $25 registration fee.
• Complete required forms.
  
• You will receive instructions regarding our participant emergency information collection software, ePACT.
• Registration must be completed by 11:59pm on the Monday the week prior to attending. There are no exceptions. 
• If your child requires special assistance, at least two weeks advance notice is required.

District 13 KDG Late PM (12-6PM) - $42.00/day
