The Bloomingdale Park Board of Commissioners has appointed Finance Director June Fergus to serve as the Interim Executive Director for the time period between Carrie Fullerton’s departure on February 18 through the start date of the new executive director.

To better service our customers, the Bloomingdale Park District will soon be upgrading its registration software. In order to manage a more accurate database,individuals will no longer be able to change household information online as of February 5, 2020.

All tennis court nets have been removed with the exception of Lakeview Park. Lakeview Park tennis courts will remain open throughout the winter. Lakeview Park is located at 240 Broker Road in Bloomingdale.

Bloomingdale Church, which housed a number of Bloomingdale Park District programs (including preschool) in the 2018-19 school year, was awarded Best Partnership by the Illinois Association of Park Districts at the Annual Best of the Best Awards Gala held November 1 at Chevy Chase Country Club in Wheeling.

Smiles continue to be big and bright in the Bloomingdale community thanks to the unbelievable generosity of Eagle Falls Dentistry. The Bloomingdale Park District and Eagle Falls recently announced a 20-year naming rights agreement for the new indoor playground in the renovated Johnston Recreation Center. Officially beginning August 1, 2019, the area will be known as The Clubhouse Indoor Playground sponsored by Eagle Falls Dentistry.

The Bloomingdale Park District announced today that its finance department’s comprehensive annual financial report was awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA). This is the eighth straight year the Park District has earned the distinction.
