Blake Wittkamp As The New Aquatics & Facilities Supervisor
The Bloomingdale Park District is excited to announce the addition of Blake Wittkamp as the new Aquatics and Facilities Supervisor. Bringing a wealth of experience in recreation management, aquatic operations, and community engagement, Blake will be an asset to the Park District’s commitment to providing exceptional programs and facilities for the community.
A graduate of Illinois State University with a B.S. in Recreational Management and a minor in Business, Blake has dedicated his career to enhancing recreational experiences. He also currently has certifications as a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) and Jeff Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Instructor and is currently pursuing a Certified Parks and Recreation Professional (CPRP) certification.
Blake comes to the Bloomingdale Park District from the Schaumburg Park District, where he served as the Assistant Manager of the Community Recreation Center. There, Blake oversaw operations for multiple facilities, managed staff and memberships, and contributed to planning special events, such as Movies in the Park and holiday celebrations. Prior to that, he held supervisory roles at Hanover Park Park District, where he managed athletic leagues, aquatic facilities, and community events.
