BLOOMINGDALE PARK DISTRICT CLOSED

As a precautionary measure with regards to the rapidly evolving situation of COVID-19 (coronavirus), the Bloomingdale Park District is CLOSED and all programs are SUSPENDED until April 5. Prior to April 5, the Park District will meet to reassess the situation.

The following facilities are closed to the public.
  • Johnston Recreation Center
  • Westfield Gymnasium
  • Museum
  • Maintenance Building
There is one exception to the district-wide closure.
  1. Park Board meetings will continue. Schedule and agendas. Despite the building being open for this short period of time, there is NO in-person registration and ALL public places within the JRC (Clubhouse, B-Fit Center, The Lounge, etc.) remain CLOSED.
During the closure, there is NO in-person registration. Limited registration desk staff will be present the following days and times to answer questions and concerns over the phone (NOT in person).
Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Saturday-Sunday, CLOSED

The health and safety of Bloomingdale Park District visitors, staff and the community at-large continues to be a top priority. During this time of closure, we are doing extensive deep cleaning of all facilities and monitoring the evolving status of COVID-19 and its impact. 

The Park District continues to closely monitor guidance from the DuPage County Health Department, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and World Health Organization, and rely on their expertise and recommendations to continue to inform decisions.
