Corporate Partner Pan American Bank and Trust Receives The Best Friend of IL Parks Award

The Bloomingdale Park District is pleased to announce the
Pan American Bank and Trust received the Best Friend of IL Parks award at an Illinois Association of Park Districts awards and recognition program.
Pan
American Bank and Trust received the award based on a nomination submitted by Bloomingdale Park District staff and reviewed by parks and recreation professionals across the state as part of the award selection process.
“Pan American Bank brings many strengths to its role in sponsorships at the Bloomingdale Park District including the Bloomingdale Park Foundation Adopt-A-Park program by supplying added financial support through the Bloomingdale Parks Foundation scholarship program,” said Joe Potts, Executive Director of the Park District.
Cooperatively with the Bloomingdale Park District, Pan American Bank expands its commitment to the mission and important life-long opportunities provided by parks and recreation services. Continued dedication through its financial commitments to programs, giveaways, special events, and advertisements offsets expenses to produce events such as the Festival of Lights and the Flick and Float. The commitment continues with support for Breakfast with the Bunny, Holiday Trolley Ride, and the Summer Concert Series making the sponsor reach more than 20,000+ residents annually.
The bank also partnered to develop an innovative fundraiser for the Bloomingdale Parks Foundation scholarship program, a Pooch Parade which annually grows in attendance. To further its commitment, the bank’s CEO Frank Cerrone donates time and expertise as a member of the foundation board.
