Earth Day Activities

Published 4/21/2021

Earth Day is officially April 22, but we've got a full weekend of activities for your at-home entertainment.

April 21
The first activity is to create a recycling collage. Design your masterpiece using old magazines, newspapers, cans, bottles or whatever you can find that's recyclable.

April 22
Find some flowers, leaves and anything that can be pressed to create a pressed flower craft! This simple nature collage is easy enough for even the youngest Earth Day enthusiasts.

April 23
For the third installment of celebrating Earth Day, detach from your devices and take a walk in one of our parks or a local forest preserve. Bring the family or a friend and simply enjoy nature.

April 24
It’s the last day of Earth Day activities so wrap up the weekend by treating yourself to an edible dirt cup treat! Visit https://jugglingwithkids.com/2012/04/dirt-cup-treats.html for the recipe.
