Exciting changes are coming to Indian Lakes Park! The Bloomingdale Park District will launch a series of improvements aimed at enhancing the park’s accessibility, aesthetics, and play opportunities for visitors of all ages. The project will begin as soon as the weather allows and includes both park and playground renovations. These enhancements were thoughtfully designed and implemented based on valuable insights, feedback, and suggestions gathered from neighborhood residents, ensuring they align with the community's needs and aspirations.

Planned upgrades include:

• Walking Path Enhancements – The existing asphalt walking path will be removed and replaced, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for walkers and joggers. A new improvement will also include a measured loop within the park.

• New Playground Equipment – The playground will receive a complete overhaul with brand-new equipment, offering exciting play opportunities for children.

• Seating Area Improvements – The old concrete bench pads will be removed and replaced, while two new bench pads will be added, providing additional seating for park visitors.

While every effort will be made to complete the project as efficiently as possible, weather conditions may impact the timeline with a target date of late May, 2025.
