Circle Park
The Ice Rink is now open as of January 18. Conditions due change so check back regularly.
Thanks to the Illinois Department of Natural Resources grant, the Circle Park roller hockey rink has been fitted with a liner to support ice skating when the weather permits. The outdoor skating rink is located in Circle Park,163 Fairfield Way, near the Homola Picnic Shelter. The rink and skating are unsupervised.
Skating Conditions –
Red Flag/Green Flag
Green Flag - Safe to skate on cleared areas during open hours. Skating is unsupervised.
Red Flag - No skating due to unsafe ice conditions. Check the flag pole near the rink for skating conditions.

History:
Circle Park began as 1.5 acres in 1965. An additional 19 acres were acquired in 1971. The Homola Picnic Shelter was completed in Summer 2012. From 2016-18, the park was renovated with new playground structures, fitness stations, picnic shelter, skate spot and renovated roller hockey/ice rink.
