Leslie Park

 

The Bloomingdale Park District seeks input regarding potential improvements to Leslie Park. Improvements are contingent upon an Open Space Lands Acquisition and Development grant. The first meeting is set for Thursday, September 1, from 6-7PM at the Johnston Recreation Center, 172 S. Circle Avenue. A second meeting will be determined.

A second public meeting is set for 6PM Wednesday, September 15 at the Johnston Recreation Center, 172 S. Circle Avenue.  The Park District is seeking public input regarding potential improvements to Leslie Park.  Improvements are contingent upon an Open Space Lands Acquisition and Development grant.  This is the last of two public meetings.

History:
Leslie Park was acquired in 1987 when Giainni Development Co. donated the land. In 1993 a lease agreement with the Village of Bloomingdale was approved, adding an additional six acres.
