Springfield Park

History:
Springfield Park was dedicated in 1988 and is the largest park in the District at 44.0 acres, which includes 20 acres of wetlands. Four new soccer fields, a new maintenance building and other amenities were added/built in 2008.

In 2017, six raised garden bed plots were added to Community & Giving Gardens. From 2017-18, the ballfield complex was renovated with re-engineered ballfields to address drainage issues, two new batting cages, new plaza area with donor pavers, shaded dugouts with windscreens, updated lighting, new fences and backstops, resurfaced basketball court, updated concession building, walking/bike path improvement, and native area restoration..
