Virtual Baseball 101

When: Tuesday, May 5, 2020 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM
Where:

This class gives players an introduction to baseball through drills to enhance technique and form. Children learn throwing mechanics, batting stance, bat positioning, fielding and positioning for fly balls. Physical endurance and fitness are also emphasized.

This class will be held virtually via Zoom. A link to the class will be emailed to your email address no later than one hour before the class start time. (Please confirm that your email address on file is accurate). If you do not receive the link to the class, email chris@bloomingdaleparks.org.

To participate, you need a device with a webcam and microphone. Please mute your device when you join the class. Equipment needed includes a baseball glove, one to five baseballs, one to five softer balls (socks rolled up work!), tee (or waist-high surface), bat (rolled up magazine or longer wrapping paper tube), four to six place markers and a flat base (can cut one out of cardboard!).
